Race honors family and nonprofit they support

We at the Dispatch ran the story of the Tribute to Transformation fashion show gala and lunch at the 1863 Club (see if we included you in the multitude of glamorous pix, here), but we ran out of space for one last bit of information:

Sunday's fourth race at the Saratoga Race Course was dedicated to Brian Bouchey, who took center stage at the gala fundraiser, and brother Danny Bouchey, who passed away in 2021.

The Bouchey family have long been big supporters of Living Resources, one of two nonprofits that were supported at the fashion show gala. Both Brian and Danny were in the Living Resources programs. The fundraiser's presenting sponsors included Barbara Bouchey and her brother Steve Bouchey. Building on Love was the other nonprofit recipient.

Wise Up took home first place, with Manny Franco aboard.
