Beautiful article, Samascott is amazing, when I was doing NY Grown Food to NY Schools (I focused on funding), Samascott was always a go to provider, high quality and consistent products. Columbia County has many historic sites and Kinderhook has a great national park. I would never think of it as a day trip so this is great. Thank you for writing this.
Not a word about the architecture and the history (other than a passing comment that it has some)? Pretty shallow. If you aare only interested in food and wine, I guess it's not the site for me.
