Charter schools denied

The SUNY Charter Schools Institute has rejected the applications of two schools looking to open in September 2026, the Daily Gazette is reporting. The Montessori-style Schenectady Scholars Charter School and the Urban Collegiate Academy Charter School were denied. Only about 38% of the schools win approval on their first application, the story says.
