Saratoga Springs: Your speed limits may change, see our comparison
Law would change most speeds in the city, with exceptions. See our handy tables!
Proposed changes in the speed limits citywide will generally drop the top speed in most areas from 30 to 25 mph, both in the Inside Tax District (roughly, the downtown core of the city) and the Outside Tax District (everywhere else), according to documents posted on the city’s website. However many roads will have exceptions to the 25 mph rule as outlined in the tables below.
Commissioner of Public Safety Tim Coll proposed the changes and set a public hearing about them on Aug. 5, at the Saratoga City Council Meeting earlier in July.
