The Saratoga County Fair opens at 10 a.m. today with 11 events from the County Draft Horse Show, at the Adirondack Trust Horse Show Ring, and the Mobile Dairy Experience, at Kingsbury Park, to Narcan training (every hour for 15 minutes) to barn loom and fiber demonstrations.
The official opening ceremony with ribbon cuttings and speeches by dignitaries is at 11 a.m. at the Jeff Townsend Live Music Pavilion (If you need to know where to go, check out their interactive map of the fairgrounds here.) The opening ceremony features the theme “Where Saratoga County Comes Together.” The full ceremony will include color guard, national anthem, speeches and the ribbon cutting.
The fair includes all the traditional fun from farm animal exhibits to deep fried anything and carnival rides ($30 for a wrist band that gets you on all the rides).

Military with an active ID and kids 12 and under are free.

Find the fairgrounds and parking at 162 Prospect St, Ballston Spa. You can park for free in fairground lots A or D, or you can pay to park in someone’s yard, if you prefer.
