At last night’s Planning Board meeting, a proposal to designate the area as an interim public park was unanimously denied, says the outlet. “The Board expressed significant reservations regarding public safety, lighting, and the lack of a secondary emergency exit,” but the applicant was encouraged to clean up the space.
