🍷 Uncork a taste of Napa Wine Country without boarding a plane
Escape to wine country — one that’s only a four-hour drive away — at Pennsylvania’s Turks Head Wines {dedicated}

The best of California wine country awaits … in nearby Pennsylvania.
If a full week in West Coast wine country isn’t on the table this year, but you’re craving an authentic taste of the Golden State, Turks Head Wines offers just that — wrapped up in a cozy, close-to-home package. Founder/President Allison Owen created her next-level wine experience with the goal of bringing elevated Northern California wine culture — and wine! — to the Northeast.
And the exquisite tasting room experience — just outside of Philadelphia, our nation’s birthplace — is celebrating our nation’s 250th with a unique new commemoration. (For more info, read on!)
Bringing the best grapes and wine culture inspo from CA to PA

The team at the winery meticulously sources the best grapes from a carefully curated collection of vineyards in Northern California, then crafts and produces the wines in the heart of Napa.
Turks Head Wines itself is located in the historic, charming town of West Chester. Owen has created a classic California Wine Country experience there, with a vast wine lounge, tasting space and farm-to-table restaurant — its seasonal menu has become a draw for the entire region.
Serious winemaking chops

The winery is celebrating several recent coups, including an incredible roster of wins at its first showing in the 2026 San Francisco Wine Competition — think multiple Double Gold, Gold, Silver and Bronze medals across their portfolio.
There was also a recent changing of the winemaking guards afoot at Turks Head. Blair Guthrie, the talented international vintner, took over the winemaking reins from head winemaker and longtime friend and collaborator, Kieran Robinson — who is headed to France.
Can’t-miss, award-winning sips

Turks Head just released two very-limited exclusive wines crafted from grapes sourced from Sonoma County and created in commemoration of the country’s 250th Anniversary.
The Semi Q Red Blend and the Semi Q White Blend will be available at the Turks Head Bottle Shoppe — and online
“This country was shaped not only by ideas, but around tables - in conversation, in community, and over wine,” Owen says. “The Founding Fathers gathered in taverns, raising glasses of Madeira and Claret as they debated the future of our nation. With our Tasting Room located just outside Philadelphia, the birthplace of America, it felt only fitting to celebrate this historic milestone in a meaningful way.”
