🏇 Eye on the weather — rain is beginning as I get ready to send, and the second race has been delayed. Pair that with the wildfire smoke and oof. “The track could go muddy, maybe even sloppy, and they may take races off the turf,” says one track source, calling it a “bad” scenario.
Did anyone else watch Fox this morning? Andy Serling did not hold back on his dislike for Paco Lopez, the jockey at the center of the four-horse accident the first weekend.
Golden Tempo returns to Saratoga tomorrow!
After winning at Monmouth yesterday, Book Em Danno is also headed to The Spa, where he’ll stay for the rest of the summer. ”He loves Saratoga,” trainer Derek Ryan told Thoroughbred Daily News.
