The big one
Saratoga New Year’s Eve Downtown Celebration (all ages/family friendly)
A town-wide celebration luring both visitors and locals — free outdoor entertainment, live DJ at the City Center, fireworks around 5–6:30 PM to kick off the evening, and live music across multiple downtown venues.
For live music, we’re talking the great Allman Betts Band, Capital Regionite Angelina Valente, and Saratoga’s very own Maggie Doherty at the City Center — for starters. UPH has the Nicotine Dolls and Belle Curves. And Caffé Lena has crowd favorites Reese Fulmer and the Carriage House Band.
Wow.
To get the party started (5 to 6 p.m. at City Center): my fave, Sonia Sandoval/DJ RVMBA, a huge New Year’s fan. “My vibe is always fun dancing,” she says. “The music is a great mix of music for all ages, still definitely highlighting Latin music. I love sharing the good vibes with our attendees so that we can all have a fun time and keep positive energy flowing into next year.”

Want more: After her set, this in-demand DJ heads straight to Schenectady to DJ until midnight at Rivers Casino — and if you’re still up, there’s an after-party at Waterworks from 1 to 4 a.m. (No drinking and driving!)
